History
Em was trained from the young age of 6 to become a samurai, as the only living progeny of Hanashiro Hagane. Due to an oath his ancestors gave, his firstborn must be given to the Rijin clan. She trained for ten years, eschewing her childhood for the blade. Then, she was called to rise up against Garlemald, and she participated in the Doman Revolt. Later, she participated in the Battle of Ghimlyt Dark, where she was gravely injured by an exploding Magiteck warmachine. She spent a long time in Gridania being healed for her wounds, where she realized she would never be able to wield a blade effectively again. Her whole life, shattered by a single blast. As she slowly recovered, she started to pick up on and study conjury, the magic that was healing her. She decided that if she couldn't defend the weak and downtrodden, she would do her best to uplift them.

Em is presently wandering Eorzea, searching for meaning and purpose after her 'recovery' from the battle of ghimlyt dark. forever crippled from the conflict, she can no longer wield her blade as she once was able to, and has been forced to find a new way to help the people around her. through conjury, she may be able to heal the wounds of the helpless even if she cannot be their shield anymore. She has recently taken employment with the Intrepid Companions to build a skillset that doesn't involve combat.
